Located in the middle of the city and the James River, Belle Isle is a great place to walk and wander. There are biking and walking trails around the whole island with hidden gems and great views of the city and river throughout.

Maymont is a 100 acre green space in the heart of Richmond which includes a Gilded Age Mansion and beautiful gardens. There is also a petting zoo and nature center where visitors can learn about local VA wildlife!

Stroll through Carytown and explore unique shops and restaurants. The best way we recommend to experience Carytown is just to walk!

This is one of our regular haunts, especially for trivia on Tuesdays! They have great burgers (Mal's favorite is "the Elvis" and Sam's is the "Cobra kai"), their fried oreos are also a must try!

Jardin is our favorite little wine bar, that offers a great wine selection (by glass or bottle), as well as a yummy selection of charcuterie, cheese, and small nibbles.

Fun fact: Sam surprised Mal with both their families here after she proposed to celebrate!
